STUDIO B-12
Studio B-12 is a recording studio and creative residency for artists. It is operated by the cultural development company LABE - Let Artists Be.
HIstory
From 1969 to 2013, the property was a family estate owned by J.R. André Bombardier, son of the famous inventor Joseph Armand Bombardier. It is a modern building with some twenty rooms on 19 acres of land, designed by architect and painter Jacques De Blois. The residence is flanked by Brandy Creek and Pont Cousineau, a covered bridge dating from 1880s. The house is bathed in sunlight and features inspiring spaces.
Louis-Armand Bombardier took over his father's house in 2014 and converted it into Studio B-12, named after his grandfather's famous snowmobile.
